This episode is for you if:

  • You’re struggling to focus on one platform at a time
  • You need a business strategy that converts (and a good reality check)
  • You’re holding onto something that no longer nurtures your business goals
  • You think you have to do XYZ to be successful and make money
  • You don’t know if you’re ready to outsource tasks

“I haven’t really released [a YouTube video] in three weeks and I’m still getting thousands, if not millions, of views a month on my channel.”

Jessica has built her online business success through YouTube and her Podcast, Grit. She has mastered “autopilot” for her business. So, when she needs to step away to attend a conference or be Mom, she can confidently to do so and know that money is still being made.

Worn out of contributing to the message that you have to do ALL THE THINGS to have a successful business because it just ain’t true, is a mindset she wants to break in her audience. Jessica shares how it’s okay to adjust your content to what your audience truly needs.

Pro Tip: You do not need (and shouldn’t) to do all the things, especially when you are first launching your business. You will not generate income this way.

Due to this mindset change, she has reached the point in her business where she has hit her goal of “what is success to me” moment and she’s looking for the what’s next.

How can you achieve this? Hire out the tasks that aren’t pushing your business forward.

For example, if you’re lost in the tech-side of building your website, then hire this out so you can focus on acquiring new clients or closing projects. This means more income in the long run!

How have you found success in online business?

A combination of relationships built and content created have been the foundation for success in Jessica’s business.

She’s a boss at creating, releasing, and promoting stellar content that her audience loves. And, it all stems from a genuine want to help others.

Pro Tip: You can genuinely help people by providing a service all while generating a sustainable income.

Sometimes this means letting go of seemingly lucrative ventures. For Jessica, having to say goodbye to a co-hosted podcast was something that had to be done in order to move her business forward and allow her to better serve the needs of her audiences.

Now, here are 4 tools to help you find success in 2020.

4 Tools You Need to Be Successful

Jessica emphasizes these four things to help your business grow.

  1. Goals – What do you want to accomplish
  2. Relationships – Build meaningful relationships
  3. Intention – Make sure everything you do has a purpose
  4. Tenacity – Have the guts to go out and make your goals happen

When Jessica see’s online businesses struggle, she knows that it’s because they are most likely listening to all the things they feel like the should be doing instead of focusing on that one thing that they know in the back of their mind they should really be giving their attention.

What’s one thing right now that’s holding you back from focusing on your creative genius?
